Turbot Creek Fishhouse

Cape Porpoise is a charming fishing village where I spend many hours painting. The beauty I find in this lovely town gives me much inspiration to paint.  From the harbor, seen in the header photo above, right down  to the working docks and numerous fish houses that dot the outskirts of the village.

Turbot’s Creek runs into the harbor and when the tide is out these old fish houses just beg to be painted. This is a favorite of mine.

Saco Bay Artists Summer Shows

Saco Bay Artists was organized to

provide artists with exhibition

opportunities, classes, workshops, and

museum excursions and the free exchange of ideas and fellowship.

The Saco Bay Artists’ Fairs are held three times during the summer months for the sale of paintings, drawings, photography, and sculpture. The location is the Ocean Park Library lawn..Ocean Park, Maine
